On January 2nd I put out a call for questions (in conjunction with a contest) and many of you asked some great ones! Every Wednesday (until I run out of questions), I’ll be answering them here! There may be ones that are related, so I’ll answer multiple questions at once. You can always add a new questions to the queue by posting them as a comment here.
Some of the most popular questions were about Dave and Sarah and their future. This week we’ll be talking about kids. Well, kinda talking about kids.
Loraine C., Kay Lyn K and Julie S. all asked a variation on this question:
I was wondering if Dave and Sarah would ever consider having a child in a Zombie Apocalypse? If so, would they still continue to do what they do or retire?
Even though I don’t have kids, I know from hanging with my adorable little nephews that they certainly change everything. In a dangerous situation, having a child around ups the stakes a lot (Dave and Sarah were very torn about The Kid in FLIP THIS ZOMBIE, if you recall). I can’t imagine trying to be in that type of high-risk, terrifying situation with babies or children to contend with. I don’t really like crossing the street with my nephews, I can’t imagine trying to train them not to get eaten by monsters.
But it is sooooo interesting that you ask this question since THE ZOMBIE WHISPERER may or may not deal with a subplot about babies. Okay, it totally has a subplot about babies. But I won’t tell you is whether or not Sarah’s baby will save her or kill her. You’ll have to read to find out. And you should be able to read all about it any day now!!!
