So if you’ve ever visited here before, read my books or met me, you probably know that I’m a bit of a geek. More than a bit, to be fair. I like fun, weird, quirky stuff, including television shows. There’s one that is coming up in about four days that I cannot wait for!!! A show that blows my mind just about every time. And you know what, you probably aren’t watching it and you should be.

FaceOff is a reality show on SyFy Network that is about make-up artists. They bring in ten or twelve up and coming artists and every week they are given challenges to create simply wonderful make-up effects. And they’re judged not only by titans in their own field, but by some really awesome directors and producers who are guest judges each week. Here are some of my favorite “looks” from last season:

It’s such a peek at a really fun industry, it’s got a fantastic host, and it’s just plain FUN. It starts again on January 15 on SyFy for it’s 4th Season. I really hope some of you set those DVRs for it, because it’s really worth a watch. And if you do, let me know what you think!!
