You’re A List-maker, Dream-maker…

For as long as I can remember, I've been a list-maker. I'm sure this started somewhere, as I certainly couldn't have been making lists along the womb wall (or perhaps I was, I was a rotten child), but someplace it started and has continued. I make lists of places to go, lists of things to buy, lists of upcoming celebrations, lists of book ideas and of course, there is my to do list, which is now in the form of a to-do mousepad. When I finish, buy, write or celebrate an item, I cross it off. When Read more [...]

We Represent the Lollipop Guild

I've always liked games. The Game of Life, Monopoly, card games and ultimately video games out the yazoo. However, I'm always looking for games that the husband and I can play together. It's way more fun that way to me. So last year, we found a nerdy, awesome, geeklicious game called Munchkin. Here is the product description from the actual manufacturer: 168 cards, 6 pawns, 6 player cards, game board, rules, and die. What makes this edition "deluxe"? It's got a big game board to keep your cards Read more [...]

Home at Last!

Phew! Well, we are home after a great vacation on Carnival. The ship did NOT lose power, become infested by a plague, catch on fire or sink, so that is a win in itself. It did take us to Cozamel, Belize, Roatan and Grand Cayman, where we snorkeled, climbed ruins, hung out on the beach and did Sea Trek, which is basically the coolest thing ever if you don't dive. Here are a few pictures: Our ship, the Liberty, docked in Cozamel. Mayan Ruins in Belize. Private Beach in Roatan I put some lime in Read more [...]
